Project background

Copywriting for The Lucid Lodge Airbnb in Yucca Valley. Obtained Superhost status with over thirteen 5-Star reviews. All organic traffic from SEO written profile and online listings. Here is what the project involved.

1. SEO copy for listing title, description, owner bio, house rules, house guide book, and auto-responders in message and email campaign. Complete set up and design for listing, front and back. Keyword research for local listings. Web presence and organic traffic planning.

2. Social media marketing campaign & monitoring primarily utilizing Instagram & Facebook. Built a niche following and helped to build brand recognition. This also helps to maintain a list of guests to send offers to for repeat business.

  1. Created Google Maps business profile to drive search traffic from people searching online instead of just relying on Airbnb's traffic. This helped me avoid competition on the platform. Optimized listing brought in over 900 free new customer views in first week of launch and continues to deliver new eyes.

Creative process

Capturing the voice of a ridiculously hip town.

1. Researched and took inventory of what the other listings in the area did right... and what they did wrong. Studied the writing style and voice of the area, picture aesthetic, pricing strategies, and local attractions focus.

2. Designed a USP that appealed to a niche market allowing us to be unparalleled to competition. Created a launch campaign that built a following before The Lucid Lodge even opened. Built a social media presence that gave people a chance to get an inside look at their potential stay. Created an up-sell by adding an automatic "add a night to your stay" message. This has worked great and so far are at a 50% conversion rate.
